From: Marcin Date: Tuesday, 31 August 2004
Message: Hi, I really am astonished with the names ;-)of your discuss, they are marvellous indeed. But extremely expensive for such a small fish, especially to people from Central Europe, like Poland or Czech Republic. We earn here much less than you do, so it is obvious that the prices acceptable are lower. We pay for dicusses 2,5 inches ~4-7USD, like 10 times less from what you are offering. I have 700 litres altogether (250+250+200), 3*20-23cm Heros Efasciatus, 2*3-3,5inches Red Pidgeon Discuss, 3 paires of 23-24cm tall Pterophyllum Scalare (young ones!!!) breeding, so if you would like to sell sth here please lower your prices expectations. I would buy myself some, but not for such a money, when I have discuss from Thailand for 8-10 times less. Cheers Wattley. Let me know what you think about it.

I am a coach and teacher and really have not had the time to raise any fry myself though I do have a couple of pairs that lay frequently in a community tank. I bought my fish from a friend who raises Angel fish. I've admired some of your fish that I've seen in books. Hope you have a great day.

Let me set up the new tank for them first and I will order the Discus then. Looking forward to talking to you. Hae K Lee.

Message: Just starting out with Dicsus and we are finding a few problems. Every now and then on fish will start not eating and you can see it getting thinner but it still won't eat. Any hints as to what to do. they are tooooooooooo expensive to just let die. Does isolation work or does that make them stress more?
